PC or Mac: which is better?

PC or Mac: which is better? As technology has continued to advance throughout the years, this debate has become more and more a question of personal preference.

Mac computers run on the Mac OS operating system while PC’s use Windows as their operating system. Both operating systems offer a wide variety of features. For the most part, the Mac OS operating system is more simplistic and easy to use while Windows tends to be more complex yet customizable. In terms of which operating system is better, it typically comes down to what the system will be used for and which features will benefit the user personally.

When it comes to design, Apple has been known to offer products that are visually appealing. However, Apple only offers six computer styles with configurations for each style. The hardware for PCs is produced by several different companies providing a variety of customization in terms of design options.

Pricing varies the most between the two. Apple assembles and sells its own hardware while Microsoft licenses the Windows operating system to vendors who produce different styles of hardware. This gives Apple much more control over their products which is why their design is consistent. However, this is the main reason as to why there is a price gap. Apple computers are priced significantly higher than PC’s with much of the same features.

When deciding which computer is better, there are many clear cut differences between the two. Choosing between these differences is purely a matter of personal preference by managing which strengths will be the most beneficial for you and your needs.
